Fell Ponies are listed as a Threatened breed through the Livestock Conservancy List.
With around 700 in North America and only 40 foals born last year, we hope to raise those numbers and bring this breed out of danger of becoming Critical or Endangered.
We are doing our best for the breed, but that sometimes means finding funding in other ways.
With your help, we can always do more to help expose others to this beautiful and rare breed and keep moving forward in breeding quality animals to raise the numbers and help share the breed with future generations.

Stonecreek Bronte(the family lovingly calls her Stormy) is the first Fell Pony we brought home.
She started as just a family pony, but soon she opened the door to bringing in other Fells and began breeding this wonderful rare breed.
She is pictured here with her 2022 colt, Stonedragon Magic Bard.
Stonecreek Scarlett is one of our foundation mares. She was imported in utero by Stonecreek Farm in Texas. I cared for her there until she went to Dreamhayven farm. When my family and I finally decided to get into breeding the Fells ourselves, we were graced with the opportunity to bring this gorgeous mare(and her unborn filly) into our little herd, and she became our second Fell mare. As the eldest mare in the herd, she is the matriarch, and we expect to retire her here one day. We hope to keep enough sponsors for her to ensure a long, happy life producing foals, being a fantastic ambassador for the breed, and eventually hanging out as a retiree until she passes at a ripe old age.
She is pictured here with her 2022 filly Stonedragon Black Gem (Baby Gemma).
Stonedragon Red White and Bonnie Blue is the first purebred Fell Pony born on Stonedragon Ranch. She was the unborn filly that came to us with Stonecreek Scarlett from Dreamhayven. Bonnie was born on the 4th of July 2019. Her sire is the Amazing Stennerskeugh Danny Boy of Dreamhayven.
Our Bonnie girl has become a beautiful and loving Fell Pony mare.
We hope to see her first foal in 2024.
Hardenberg Griffen is our Fell Pony Stallion.
He was the third Fell Pony purchased and brought into the herd.
Griffen is a young son of the imported stallion, Littletree Bodini. Bodini is the most decorated Fell Stallion in North America, and our Griffen is the only FIS-negative son currently available for stud services in the US.
His sponsors help us to keep him happy and healthy so that he may compete and produce more of this beautiful rare breed for future generations.
Hardenberg Freya is a special little mare.
Her sire, Lunesdale Warlord, is a Multi-Supreme Champion still living and competing in the UK.
Freya is a half-sibling to our stallion, Hardenberg Griffen, and sponsoring her will help us bring in blood from other stallions (preferably from the UK) to help bring in new bloodlines to
North America!
She is currently in driving training and will be checked soon to see if she is mature enough to carry a foal for us.
Baby Ami is the daughter of our first mare, Stonecreek Bronte. Her sire is the fantastic stallion, Kimberlake Gabriel. Gabriel is sired by a stallion the previous Queen used on some of her mares. So that gives our little Ami the title of "Bred in the Purple." We love this little filly and hope she matures well and will one day produce some fantastic "Bred in the Purple" foals for us here at Stonedragon Ranch.
Her sponsorships will help fund her becoming an ambassador for the breed and one day join the broodmare band and start producing excellent foals.
