Our Sport Ponies are purchased and bred to be performance prospects who will excel in whatever avenue is chosen for them! We not only purchase and breed them to be great partners out on the Trail, on the Ranch, and in the Jumping and Dressage Arenas, but they are also eligible for registration in multiple registries so clients aren't just getting another grade pony.
If you purchase a Stonedragon Sport Pony, you will receive papers in multiple registries that will help you track your pony's pedigree and their DNA will be on file for future generations through AQHR & ADNAR. If you want to avoid other registries, papers through AQHR or ADNAR will come with these cross foals regardless of any other papers so their future with the other registries will still be possible for future owners/breeders if the foal is sold by you at a later date.
Future Performance & Broodmare
We have brought in a lovely little black & white pinto filly to our herd for both a Performance and Broodmare Prospect.
She is unregistered at this time, but we are getting her registered through PINTO and possibly AQHR(Half Quarter Horse) and will give her a purpose in performance and through producing some Awesome Sport and AQHR foals.
Her first breeding season will eventually be crossing her on our Fell stallion for a Pinto Sport foal once older.
She will also be evaluated for use as a potential surrogate mare for our Matriarch mare, Stonecreek Scarlett, in the case where she may not be able to provide care for her own foals in the future. If this occurs we will be looking into Warmblood and Sport Pony stallions to cross on Scarlett to produce some amazing Sport foals.
We are expecting another Fell x AQHA foal in the Fall of this year. We can't wait for this little one to join us here at Stonedragon Ranch, and can only hope for a happy healthy foal.

We are expecting another Fell x AQHA foal by our Foundation AQHA stallion, King Leo Chex Bar, and out of the amazing Fell Pony mare, Hardenberg Freya, by Supreme Champion stallion, Lunesdale Warlord, this year. This is a repeat breeding and the last of this particular cross for a few years as we have some lovely stallions in mind for Miss Freya in the future. We can't wait for this little one to join us here at Stonedragon Ranch, and can only hope for a happy healthy foal.
